Charlie Murphy
After seeing the scrimmage Friday, Polks D needs to turn it up in the next two weeks! There were series' that looked good, but others that left concern. Edited August 11, 2013 by Charlie Murphy
smokinote
Why is the Bradley v. Polk game at Polk County this year? Wasn't it at Polk last year?
MountainTroll
Bears looked good at the Jamboree tonight against Tyner.
BurtWonderstone
Why is the Bradley v. Polk game at Polk County this year? Wasn't it at Polk last year? With East Hamilton coming in to the district and Rhea leaving they had to play at Polk again to keep it at 5 home and 5 away. I guess they did not want to have a year with only 4 home games next year.
Polk04
Man this thread is pretty quite. What is it? Is everyone thinking a blow out or something? I for one think its going to be a great game very curious to see how Polk's defense holds up to Bradley's passing attack. Polk should be able to move the ball and control the clock which will be important in this game. Good luck to both teams and hope for an injury free game. Can't wait for Friday night. I think the fanatics like me blab all year but the fans will wait and critique a game after a real one is played....Jamboree was not a measuring stick even though it changed some perceptions....ck back about 930 friday night and thereafter........ I agree I like to see how the team is after the first real game. Scrimmages and the Jamboree really don't show to much working guys in and out. But should be a good game just hoping both teams come out without any injuries.
dumdum
I just don't think Polk's lineman can go both ways, the whole game...Bradley Central pulls away late, 33-21.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Polk's lineman go both ways. There may be some subbing on D that brings in an O Lineman, but for the majority, I think the 4 on D are different than the 5 on O. Now LB's and DB's may be a different story. I think the key to this game is Polk controlling the ball, limiting BC's big plays. I think BC's QB is on the same level as Copeland last year, but it was Bradley's RB, #1, that shredded Polk last season. anotherback
Turnovers. Who gives who gets. I'm guessing both defenses will struggle first time out. Sounds like in the scrimmages that both offenses improved and both d's were questionable.
