Beech's New Safety, Jalen Hurd . . . thoughts?

I have seen him play both. On defense, I saw him make a great play against NE in the playoffs. Lots of average plays. On offense, he is elusive, fast and can run over you on any carry. Very impressive. Hands down from what I have seen, offense is his game. Just my opinion.

I completely agree. Will he have enough left in the 4th quarter if they need that game winning drive?

Vanderbilt fans are hilarious. First of all you have Franklin publicly crying about Hurd not committing to them. Secondly hasn't TN won like 33 of the last 35 meetings vs. Vandy? They have 2 decent back to back seasons an they think they are world beaters. When that program actually accomplishes something please let me know.

Given the lack of production UT has had in running the football lately, he is going to get every chance to start at tailback right away. You dont sign a kid with his size and move him away from his primary position

What's your point? UT beat vandy 48-0 in 2003. Historically, UT owns vandy. The black and gold get under everyone's skin because their coach whines constantly and is an embarrassment to the rest of the SEC.
