Powell vs Fulton Football

Unfortunately, Neither team will have time to worry about what happened last night? Fulton will be playing a STRONG Bearden team next Friday and Powell will be playing a 2-time back to back state champion that will bring an ALL-Out Air Assault unlike anything that Powell has ever seen. Powell has a week to figure out how to stop somebody and how to score on somebody? Hopefully those boys from Powell can get ALL coached up and bounce back? IMO this next game for Powell will be a HUGE game concerning how the rest of their season plays out?

It would be strange if the Champions of that Region had a 6-4 record this season.

We were talking about that in the press box last night. There is no doubt that Quarles is the best coach in the state, and a Fulton-Maryville matchup this year would be very entertaining. But what Quarles has never had is a team like this Fulton squad. He's never had that kind of experienced D-I level talent at so many different positions. A team like Ensworth, with the level of talent they have, is probably one of the few in-state teams that could go toe-to-toe with Fulton this season. There just isn't a team on Fulton's schedule (or in the 4A playoff ranks) that is going to come close to challenging the Falcons this year.

Unless Fulton has some key injuries and IF greeneville makes it that far, Fulton will beat Greeneville by at least 2 touchdowns (I'm being conservative)

I don't know if anyone would keep it at 14 pts or under. They're really explosive on offense.

Well like I said.....I'm being very conservative. I honestly feel like Fulton would win by 4 touchdowns. But there are so many variables. If Hawkins/Smith or even Rollins was to get injured, it would change things

Well if we get beat tonight it will definitely be because our boys are tired ... this Fulton Loss for Maryville was the second loss this week , Greeneville really showed up strong in the IFL earlier this week too ... I wish you guys wouldn't schedule these IFL games the week we have a big game !! LOL

Fulton has had some very strong teams, this one is the best. Not saying we would beat Ensworth, but saying we could.

Ensworth just beat a top 20 team in the nation in Trinity.
