BasinAlum
Boyd graduated about 16 last year. The bigger question is why does Red Bank have less kids than Boyd That is true. I was sitting next to one of my buddies tonight and his dad went to Red Bank. He said they only had 600 or so students now compared to 1200 10th through 12th grade when he was there. So not just football numbers are down. It seems all numbers are down there. Not sure why or anything. This is my first year really paying attention to them. Football54
Great game by both teams tonight. Red bank should have won this game though had a few bad breaks and penalties late.
MountainTroll
Red Bank numbers are down because of Signal. That's right ... just blame us for everything. We also put a dent in enrollment at Boyd, Notre Dame, Baylor, McCallie, GPS, ... and don't forget Howard. Seriously, all of Signal Mountain was zoned for Red Bank, so yes, Red Bank took a hit when Signal was built. However, a lot has to do with the demographics of the area. Lots of older families living in Red Bank and not a lot of families with high school kids moving in, except for the apartments. Now that the yuppies in North Chatt have adopted Red Bank, and with some of the new home construction in Red Bank and the middle/high school expansion/construction, I expect Red Bank will be restored to its glory days within a decade. Pounder1
Mountain Troll, I wished you had not answered that statement as you did. It is not only Red Bank you have players from. Now be honest about this. Tough lost to your team. They will get better in their district. Every team should improve for each game . I hope everyone does. buccowbellmania
Great game - This is a young team, so it was good to watch them fight until the end! The defense will get better each week - Lost a lot of starters last year, so the new guys are stepping up! Way to go BUCS!

Was great to see so many of those seniors from last year there to root on their comrades...alot to overcome for this young group so the encouragement was very appreciative!!
