Science hill @ Siegel

Based on one half of football, here are 3 things keeping SH from being a good football team:

The defensive secondary

McGue's passing decisions

Stupid penalties

I can agree with that for the most part. Malik's passing has been spot on the first few games of the season. He's having trouble tonight because it sounds like his receivers are having a difficult time getting open, dropping passes etc.

These are the seven things that Siegel needs to do to make the playoffs:

1. The team that makes the fewest mistakes will win.

2. Play for and make the breaks and when one comes your way - SCORE.

3. If at first the game - or the breaks - go against you, don't let up... put on more steam.

4. Protect our kickers, our QB, our lead and our ball game.

5. Ball, oskie, cover, block, cut and slice, pursue and gang tackle... for this is the WINNING EDGE.

6. Press the kicking game. Here is where the breaks are made.

7. Carry the fight to our opponent and keep it there for 48 minutes.

Some of it is on the receivers, but there have several where he had open field in front of him but tried to force a pass.

Siegel leads 21-17 just before halftime. Topper secondary needs to tighten it up! BTW nice 45 yard FG from Alex Rinella for the Toppers.

vol, you hear that DB/Crockett score? At the half, Indians lead 61-0. I thought they were too good to run up the score? I guess we're not the only "classless" bunch in the conference...

Final score was 61 - 7, so I guess you are the only "classless" bunch in the conference. :)
