Blackman Blaze @ Smyrna Bulldogs

We have yet to play a complete game. I hope the week off has allowed the Bulldogs to refocus and heal up a bit. A win here would go along way. It is a tall order. The question that still remains unanswered for the Bulldogs is can they answer the bell against quality competition for a complete game. They did it for a half against Oakland and did it for 3 1/2 quarters against siegel. It will take a complete game on both sides of the ball to have a chance. We have the talent. Now we need the focus.

I'm just ready for some football! Having last week off left my Friday night boring and long, lol. While it's awesome to play so well that the clock doesn't stop every Friday night, i'm looking forward to getting a full nights worth of HSFTBLL this Friday!

After Summers put a few on the ground against Siegel, I'd expect Blackman to be tackling the ball alot this game. Hopefully he had a couple of weeks to refocus and it won't be an issue this week.

I am sure that will be a topic of emphasis this week. Among other things. Keep working hard Bulldogs!!!

Smyrna is a decent team but does not have the depth to play the better teams.  On the sidelines of the Oakland/Smyrna game, I saw some very good Smyrna players.  By the time of the half, I saw a bunch of tired boys, many of which were playing both ways.  By the time of the second half, Smyrna either put in a considerably weaker second string player or played a tired player, neither of which matched well with Oakland as they put it away.  Bottom line, Smyrna needs to get some breaks and capitalize on them.  Otherwise, Blackman will put the game away before the fourth quarter begins.

Smyrna keeps it close early, but like the games against Oakland and Siegel, Blackman will pull away late.
