Blind Draw???? Right!.......CCS & ND and CAK & Knox Catholic are from same districts...not gonna happen

The only stipulation is that teams from the same region (and by definition, district as well) are played on different sides of the bracket.  This year, CAK-KC, CCS-ND, CPA-Fv, L-JC all came from the same regions so they had to be on opposite sides.  The only area with teams from different districts was middle Tennessee.

Why do they not spread out these games? I mean these girls work hard to get here and now they share the spotlight with 3 other games going on. You really hurt the crowds with these times. 

This is the first time (recently) it's been at a multifield complex.  I've always liked how they play one match at a time at CCS as it feels more like a proper tournament.  The schedule this year is how they do it for the boys and it makes everything feel like just another club team event, with numerous matches taking place at the same time.

 

Not sure if it will ever get back to CCS as they destroyed their lovely soccer field.

I definately agree that TSSAA has done a poor job of setting up the schedule. I want to assume travel back and forth came into play with that schedule. That schedule will also help keep more families from flipping the bill for jacked up Hotel rates. Though Booger is all in for the stay.

Part of the reason is in the past some coaches complained to TSSAA that the recovery time for a team with a late game was less than for teams that had early games.  Bunching the game up on time was "deemed" more "fair".

It's pretty simple. If games are called Thursday because of the storm, the Thursday games will be played on Friday along with the regularly scheduled Friday games.

Not looking good out there right now....after chatting with some of the officials at morning chow; those little guys in those cute uniforms and Booger deciide it was not hapnin....the wind will be the factor I think....lets see
