your funny man central has a complete team.  you keep bring up jordan long like he makes our team or something. he's a great kid and a good contributor to our team but tre tiller,teron hayes and poole carries our team. but its not a one man show at central its a good team who has a chance in the next couple of years to be come a great team and bring home a gold ball back to chattanooga in the near future!!! and tynerramfan is right tyner and brainerd should be 1 or 2 because they have alot of seniors and juniors back on both teams.but i believe my young central pounders will give both teams a run for there money in the district this year. we play east ridge next have anybody seen there team play??? yet i know they still have eddie.

You are right but if you starter goes down on any team it hurts a program bad, Sydik from Tyner, Tipton from Brainard, Tre Tiller would be the same has Long or Tayron its part of Basketball, that's a fact, any update on his leg. I played AAU against him and all I 'am saying is he was the best I played from Chattanooga.

Hixson vs Lookout Valley...Final 62-47...Hixson was fast and quick and used all 10 players...the football team was there so I don't know how many they will get once season is over...LV was not very deep and played 2-3 zone most of the night...Wildcats hit a few 3"s and basically ran the floor. Had not seen LV in a few years but they used to be pretty good..don't have the talent level they once had.

Don't know any names but #12, #24, #10 are the three that did pretty good last night.

Thanks how do ya think the Twins from Brainard is going to handle Sydik , and how will Tyner deal with the size of Brainard inside. How will Howard deal with Brainard, and Tyner. I see Brainard and Tyner beating Howard by 30+ what's ya thought or is Hixson beater than last year and a sleeper team along with East Ridge.

Brainerd will be tough..but I feel better that we play them first at our place..it will be important how the Rams handle the inside presence of Brainerd..I never count Howard out because of "Moose"..Coach High didn't have a good record against Moose..will have to wait and see how the new coach(Brown) will do against the experience of both Coach Harris and Moose..Hixson looks to be better(in my opinion) because more players are involved (not like last year when they had the tall kid, I forgot his name) who took most of the shots. Don't know about E.Ridge..didn't get to see them when they had the 'play-day' over there a couple weeks ago!

The twins are pretty good ball players but when Sadik is on his game I don't see no guard in the city that can handle him. Darrin the transfer will be a handful as well. The key matchup will be Moore vs Watkins inside. Those two will battle and foul trouble will be the difference.

Great assessment That was picked right out of my head, I think Sadik number on the Avg will be 14 pts, 3 reb. 5 steals, 10 asst. Per game

Freshmen game was tonight between Tyner and Central...lots of turnovers but good game none the less won by the Rams 47-39 !!

 

Good crowd also.
