Bhs I'm feelin dat son...I was at dat game we lost to cordova. Dat was a state championship year!... but you know when you were raised at a school, and when you spend so much time, effort and energy and then see some bs goin on, bein quiet doesn't help, it incourages. Winning da state caused some egos to swell and thus our boys have been suffering and not playing dominating football as in past years although winning. Hopefully we can get back to whitehaven football. How we are playing and losing is one thing. When you been around long as I have and some of my old teammates they take it better from us than new people because we've been here. We know what's goin on behind da scenes. If its former players we have that rite, we made whitehaven. But I'm black an gold 4life. Will neva miss a game!! Gripe? Well we expect to win. We have a standard an tradition of winning but I guess that real issue is, we wanna look good doing it!! And that I can say won't always happen....lol...so spoiled may be a good word, but in a good way!! Now I've said a lot without tryin to say to much, so if you hear me griping don't worry, I'm a bigger fan than most will ever be. My son learned how to walk on da track at da haven while I've been a volunteeer coach ova da years, now he's a soph there. So let me gripe in peace!!! Respect da haven...

There's nothing wrong with being a fan of Whitehaven. The more support the better!!!! You can't stop fans from expressing their frustrations, saying crazy statements, or thinking they are the coaches on Friday night. If you purchase your ticket, sneak in, or pretend to be on the staff you can say whatever makes you happy.

 

KWC, makes valid points though. Very valid! It's about RESPECT! RESPECT for that staff that spends countless hours putting in work. RESPECT for those kids who give their all! Everybody has the right plays while sitting in the stands. Everybody is Jimmy Johnson from the stands. Everybody has won 10 state titles in the stands. Everybody USE TO run 4.3, caught nine TDs, and had 43 sacks in the stands! But, NOBODY is out there giving their time, energy, sacrificing, and dedicating themselves to those kids except the MEN on the field they call COACH.

 

There is a high standard at Whitehaven. The standards hve been raised by THIS STAFF (check the record books). In years past, WE were never this good or consistent. NEVER been to a state championship until THIS STAFF took over. Be happy we hve THIS STAFF because it could be a lot worse.
