ND @ POLK Rd2 (REMATCH)

...... we had our worse performance all year on offense (polk had little to do with that BTW) ...

You keep spouting this drivel, could you please elaborate on this?

I agree that Polk had nothing to do with Notre Dame's inability to stay on sides or get a play in on time, but I'm pretty sure they had something to do with the 3 interceptions, the 4th down stops, etc.

So enlighten us on exactly what you mean by this,,, was the play calling not what you would have liked, because we know some of the ND fans have proclaimed fant as the greatest coach in Tennesseee.

Was it the effort of the kids? Surely they didn't have a problem getting up for Polk..

I know, you were missing your running back..... and you're right, Polk didn't have anything to do with that, but from all the previous post this season I thought ND was more than a one man show....

You know Polk usually rolls up about 400yards of offense, they had 270 something against ND, but none of us Polk fans have been on here saying "it had nothing to do with ND"

It was a 2 point game, so yeah, it could go either way this time, but both teams made mistakes, both teams made plays.....and to say that the opponent had nothing to do with your teams performance just perpetuates the stereotype of the arrogant Notre dame fan.

If you could just give us a little more detail on what you mean?

Oh and Polk will be missing one of their starters this friday, so I guess us fans will have an excuse next week!

your inability to respond to that post with nothing more than "Lmao your an idiot"is pathetic. You sound like a 5 year old. I thought the post was pretty much spot on and shows CM's superior knowledge over your lack of knowing pretty much anything. Do yourself a favor and quit posting. The more you do the more ignorant you look. And here i am thinking private school kids are usually pretty intelligent. I guess notre dame accepts anyone. Edited by Slim88

Ive seen each team play once (ND at Catholic, and PC at McMinn Central) and I believe that both are decent teams with good chances to win a game next week in the quarterfinals too. ND having their starting RB will a significant difference for the ND offense.  A good RB can make a world of difference in the efficiency of an offense (i.e. UGA and Todd Gurley). Not saying their RB is an all american, but it does make a difference.  Winning big games usually comes down to minimizing mistakes (penalties and turnovers).  I see PC winning that battle and thus winning the game..... barely

We will see Friday night. I'm not one to get into this trash talking. But I see two very well coached teams and two talented teams going to war. The team that has the fewer mistakes win. Once again all you ND fans have a safe trip up to Benton and watch your speed limit. Go Polk

    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
