Bulldogfan24
That's not Westview's style they talk with their play on the field. The Martin community other than Dresden weeks, are a lot like their coach calm and collective. They expect a win when they step on the field but they aren't going to boast about it. So you most likely wont see much trash talk. They lost to arguably the best team in 4A by a small margin in a game that could of went any way. They also played a terrible game against a playoff 5A team and lost in another close one. Their only other loss came to Huntingdon by one point. They are a good football team and I truly believe they will make a run. Having said that this is the playoffs and nothing is a sure thing and Hickman Co. has a good team to have got this far. Good Luck to both teams and congratulations to both for making it to the 2nd round. Westview by 10+ Hickman lost to 10-0 team Lewis, Fairview 9-1 team, and east Hickman 7-3. The east game could have went either way. We got in the their red zone 3 times but went for tds instead of FGs. They got in the red zone one time and kicked FG. So HC could have easily just lost to 2 teams that are ranked 1st and 2nd in their quads!
WestTN4Life
This is not a true statement. Dyersburg is good but not that good. Excellent chance to make it to Cookeville, but would lose handily to Fulton or Greeneville. It is not even arguable. You are correct I said it wrong I should have said on this side of the state, my bad haha.

alltime
That is true! I'm not taking nothing from East beating Hickman. I was impressed by East this yr! Very good season!
bulldog3509
Yeah! And both teams played in the flood, right? Correct and if you would have read his previous post you would have seen where he said Hickman got into East's red zone 3 times... Went for Tds and could not get it. Field was too wet. East got the ball into our redone once, bad snap on a punt is the only reason they got put there. East opted to kick a field goal. They have a smart coach no matter what their fans and players say about him. Ending score 3-0. Neither team played well due to the rain mainly bc both teams are big passing teams. East did not out play hickman in the game. Bc both teams played like crap due to the weather.
Slim88
Im confused as to why the weather is to blame. Lewis and Fairview didnt have any problems scoring in it. Not trying to rile anyone up just curious.

Not trying to rile anyone up just curious. If you knew anything about football you would know why fairview and Lewis were able to score in the rain. Lewis is always been know to run the ball well. And fairview is the same this year. Their both not much of a pass team this year for sure. It's a lot easier and safer to run the ball in the rain! No disrespect bulldog but rain or not, that is no excuse for Hickman not to score against a very average East Hickman defense!
