Geno, I see football as a whole going the wrong anyway. Want be long till there dressed like lacrosse players playing flag football.....

I'm with you from the NFL on down football is becoming soft. If people played a sport to be safe they would play badminton or shuffle board. When you have players who made millions over their careers suing because of trauma that they did knowingly to themselves its sad. I don't like seeing my hero's messed up but I don't like seeing them acting like they didn't know what they were doing to themselves. I'm a little old school but I'm pretty sue I got horse collared 100 time more in the back yard than ive ever seen on the football field plus my mom busted my butt for messing up another shirt. I'm not saying we shouldn't protect our kids but let them become men and make the decision to play football or soccer.

first of all congrats to the south pitt pirates, they are a very talented team.  Second, with out a doubt it was the worst officiated game I have seen in my nearly half century of watching football.  The referee group was out of the Clarksville area.  they seemed to be fine men but not good refs.

This might be the same group that officiated the Nashville Christian @ Clarksville Academy game back on 11/2. Penalties were NCS 16 for 150 and CA 3 for 20. It was the worst I had ever seen and South Pittsburg's 21 penalties for 210 yards last Friday is the worst I've ever heard. Maybe the T$$AA has a rogue crew from Clarksville that literally pulls for the underdog, as in pulling yellow excessive flags!

31 flags for 320 total yards for both teams combined

    • The yearning for enlightenment has been an incessant companion, fueling an insatiable thirst for knowledge and understanding. Given your extensive coverage of football and the apparent breadth of your expertise, I am inclined to seek your esteemed opinion on the matter: who, in your estimation, emerges as the favored candidate? Furthermore, since the mantle of head coach has been vacated, upon whom would you bestow the mantle of leadership?
    • Shoulders dad graduated for TC, and Kyle began his coaching career early on at TC although he wasn't there long. Shoulders would be a homerun, but don't see him leaving Macon anytime soon.

    • Perhaps it is within the realm of possibility that the comprehension of my discourse, both by yourself and others, may be circumscribed by the boundaries of intellectual acumen. Might one contemplate this notion from such a perspective? Allow me to clarify that my intent does not lean towards disparagement, save for instances where provocation is directed towards myself or the esteemed troupe of the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets who proudly find domicile upon the hallowed grounds of CREEKBANK. In contemplation of the candidates under discussion, it is conjectured that individuals such as Gregory, Woodmore, Vetetoe, Eden, Hackett, and Cothron may emerge as contenders. Regrettably, it is deemed improbable that Shoulders shall express interest in this pursuit. Speculation arises regarding the potential candidacy of BJ West, albeit the implications of familial ties with Lafayette introduce complexities to such a scenario. The enigma of Dr. Clint's deliberations looms large, fraught with the weight of a formidable decision yet to be made.
    • My kind sir, you seem to be lost within the time space continuum having traveled from the 16th Century or you aspire to hide your true intelligence by masking your language with that of the great playwright. You know good and well, your commentary takes your fellow comrades hours to decipher what you are really saying and most of them are likely left questioning whether you have insulted them or find them to be in your favor. I offer you some advice. In my travels through this area of the country, it is best to speak slow and with a twang and you don't annunciate  words to their fullest. Your points will be clear then!  Any names been mentioned around town as Actual Applicants to this job? Seen several post mentioning individuals, but I haven't heard of any of them except for Shoulders. Does he have ties to TC?  Have amy of the other names mentioned ever been in the HC position before?
