Noles have their hands full with the Tigers from AU right now, but that last score was huge. I'm an SEC guy, but for some reason I am pulling for your Noles. Should be a great 2nd half! And I agree about your last statement, Nole. Hoping the Cats can bring back some past glory in the next few years!

I would not cheer for that Winston guy even if he was from Oak Ridge.

or even worse Florida.... Now you know why I'm less than enthusiastic about rooting for maryville. But the last few years it's been a matter of rooting for the lesser of two evils. I hate that white haven team and I hate 7AAA

I have to say it was touching for Winston to run and find his old coach another former great QB at Auburn that played with a lot of heart right after the game.  True repect. Talented kid.

Back to Oak Ridge. QB seems to be the key. I liked the kid wanington i think you said. Never understood why didn't get more of a chance. Henderson was probably better but I think he never felt pushed so he didn't focus as much. His games were too inconsistent. Defense should be in tact. Offensive line has size and stregnth but not a lot of experience. I think the key to the oline is the center position. It is one of the most important positions in football. Hopefully this off-season they will get a lot of mental reps on film and technique reps.

I agree with you. QB is the key.

They really do need to work on the center and snaps. They looked like they were in slow motion. In the shotgun and punt formation, they had to stand and wait for the ball. Need to put some zip on it.

I thought there were some bad snaps but all I all I thought the center did pretty good. I'm not sure who the snapper was on punts but I don't remember any bad ones. More zip on all snaps is always good I'm sure. I'm ready for next season.

The snaps on punts weren't bad just slow. Sometimes the defense was there before the ball. They get blocked that way, too

I agree. I also think they ran they same pass plays a lot. I would like to see the TE more involved the next few years we have some good ones. Winter workouts have started Roll Wildcats Roll

Sounds like y'all have a Coach that gets the kids out of the halls and on the field.

 

The timing will further develop as the work goes on.
