Sensitive. I asked a question. I too have an opinion or at least state another way to look at it. I personally think a congrats would have been fine.  I'm sure he has a lot on him and the decision he will make. Either way it's a win. And at end of the day he will need the same things to make it, God's Grace and Mercy, patients, perseverance, and persistence. Just want to look at another way.

That's exactly what Sweet said when he brought up the topic, he said "Congrats" to Steen. Others have an opinion too and I didn't think they were being disrespectful. I frankly didn't care which he chose, college or MLB. Either road will be a tough one. As you said, it's his choice and he's made it. Good for him!

I don't see either beating us next year. AC loses that big line, which was huge for them this year. We killed them in Freshmen game 39-0 and our middle school teams combined I think would beat theirs

Congrats to Steen. I wish him all of the Best. One thing about College- some kids are not cut out for it. I don't know about Steen.  Sometimes - it is better to pay your Dues by coming out early.. But--- in my opinion- If you can got to College- Go. And try to pick a good Sports program when you do.. And that leaves  UT out of of it (in my opinion)

UT is going to get better and Butch is going to lock this state up and Steen needs to go to UT if possible.

A lot can be learned from someone who has went down the wrong path in his life before and fesses up to it and has hopefully learned from his mistakes. Don't worry. BR will hate on anything UT. If Butch brought Jesus Christ into speak with the team he would have something to say about it. If you think a team sucks and isn't any good I don't understand why someone would hate them so bad like BR does UT. They must be doing something good because he can't keep UT out of his mouth lol You hate teams who have it going on I.E. Bama not UT who has been putrid the past 5-6 years.

What can PAC man teach them? How to make it rain at a strip club? Why don't they just get the former players who assaulted that off duty police officer to come and speak to the players. Or, how about those players that committed the robbery at pilot. I'm sure that they can learn a lot from them. Edited by bladerunner

      And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…

      Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.

      Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.

      After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.

      Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
