Can someone help me out with finding the dates, teams involved, and bracket for this years Arby's Classic?  I am interested in attending this tournament, but can not find any up to date information on it.

I have been to the Marshall County Hoopfest and the Penny Hardaway Classic; how does this tournament rank in comparison...?

Thanks for the help...

By doing my own research, the dates are Dec. 26-31. No games will be played on Sunday the 30th. Some of the teams that will be playing is as listed.

Greater Atlanta Christian - Atlanta, GA

Christ School - Arden, NC

Oakland - Murfreesboro, TN

Mentor, OH

Dobyns Bennett - Kingsport, TN

Sullivan South - Kingsport, TN

Sullivan East - Bluff City, TN

Johnson County, TN

*Host* Tennessee High - Bristol, TN

Gate City, VA

I'm going to assume Urspring and Tabernacle Baptist will be there as usual. Unable to verify though.

That's about all I could find out so far. Hopefully they will be posting the information about it soon on the website.

Mentor will be at the Arby's for a fourth straight year.  The Ohio team won the big school state championship a few months after finishing runners-up at the Arby's Classic.  They graduated three key seniors (Jeff Foreman, Brody Nelson, Michael Gallagher) and lost starter Brandon Fritts - who elected to graduate in January to enroll early for football at UNC.  Half of their top 8 is gone.  Returning starters Conner Krizancic and Caleb Potter will return.  The Cardinals will still be a threat in TN and in Ohio.  But this is going to be the weakest team of the four that they have sent.

    • I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.
    • If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.
    • Dorian Eskridge was HVA's best back, 2011
    • Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro
    • I'm not sure you understand anything if you think DB's career and AD's career are comparable.  This is a terrible take.   Not to slight AD, He was a good player and he got better as he matured after high school.   But Desean had over 8,000 yards in HS and was a two-time Mr. Football.
