2013 Arby's Classic Tournament (Dates, teams, and Bracket)

After 23 lead changes CPA goes on a 30 something to 9 run to beat Peachtree Ridge 86-62.

Should be some great semi matchups. Atlanta Christian v. Oak Ridge. AC looks like the most physically talented team in the field, but Oak Ridge playing well. CPA v. Milton. CPA hasn't really been tested much this year, but Milton is much better than CPA's previous 2 opponents in the tournament. Will go with AC and CPA to advance, but won't be surprised at all at a different outcome.

On a side note. What is up with Dobyns-Bennett electing to leave the tournament and having Urspring play their game against Sullivan South? Weird.

Are you joking? I have a buddy who talked to some of the DB players after their game vs Oakland the other night and he said it sounded to him like the team has turned their backs on their coach. He said he heard a lot of them saying they were "getting sick of all this".

Couple players went with the band to the Rose Bowl Parade and to the Senior Football players trip to one of the other bowl games. I heard today a lot of ppl not happy with this and is looking for the Head Coach and AD jobs to be replaced. TIFWIW!!!!!!

So what were they going to do had they actually made it to the semifinal or championship games at the tournament? Sounds to me like they dropped out because they weren't playing well and didn't feel like playing in a consolation game. What an embarrassment. When you sign up and agree to play in a tournament, you play and finish it out regardless of what place you're playing for.

I agree with you 100%, from what I am hearing a lot of parents are not happy with the coach. This don't look good on the School with the most wins in the Nation for High School Basketball. Not sure where the problem lies but something is wrong for sure. They should not be asked back next year.
