Don't think fbboys. Many good names being thrown around. However this job is wide open for the most part. One front runner if he wants it but he is not RA. Everyone else better hope for interview and then better be impressive. Including RA.

Work give us a hint or some info on some of the applicants

Three current Overton assistants, two current metro head coaches, three former metro head coaches, several current metro assistants, is what I am hearing. Along with several others. Not sure how many will get an interview but I do know there is only one clear cut favorite who has been mentioned but not by name. He would be a great choice and is a proven leader. Some on current staff will not be happy if they are not chosen so whomever is named better watch his back as if he were Caesar. After this one coach I think it's pretty open. There are some good candidates that could do well but all will have the same opportunity to get this job.

So, Campbell, MacPhail, Crawford are current assistants.  Gore and probably Murray (since he applies for every job) are current head coaches. Adeylott, Thompson, and maybe Bubba out of retirement are former Metro coaches. No current metro assistants at other schools have a chance anyway.

That was pretty good DR!!!! I was thinking the same with assistants as well as current coaches... Quite funny about Murry, cause that's true as well. But I thought of Maybe Broome. Adeylott , bubba and Law. Not Thompson now since he a principal. What about thigpin from Hillsboro as the assistants I don't think of any worth it as well

    • Great to meet you too.  We're going to work hard to get back.
    • I extend my gratitude to ManCoverage for initiating this discussion thread tailored to the residents of Trousdale County. In times of adversity within our football team, it is imperative to have an outlet for expression, and what better platform than CoachT's Craigslist forum? I respectfully request that GOAT exercise discretion in his commentary, as his remarks have caused me personal distress.
    • I am inclined to wager a substantial portion of my financial assets on the likelihood that Waggoner shall transition to an alternative coaching vocation prior to the year 2028. It is my contention that discerning individuals are beginning to perceive his coaching prowess as lacking in the requisite excellence. Allow me to articulate the following assertion: Waggoner represents a markedly superior choice compared to the individual who perpetrated the act of fuel theft.   This individual exhibits a conspicuous propensity for frequent professional transitions, a trait which undermines his credibility and renders him an untenable choice for serious consideration. It is indeed confounding that his candidacy continues to garner attention and support.
    • Yeah same   It’s definitely true that tough times make tough kids, but some kids just have a big passion for the game and will become the best of the best no matter where they come from.
    • Hope you enjoy it King and good to meet you at state this year. Good luck to the Lady Landers. Keep battling.
