workinprogress
No one ever said Campbell won't get a shot. I'm sure he will interview. I haven't read where anyone doubted his coaching ability either. Campbell has done well everywhere he has been. In my opinion Overton will have a new face on the sidelines and if I'm right I don't see campbell staying. If he leaves the obvious place in my opinion is Antioch to work with Peden. metroRUMORS
Hate to end lots of discussions, but McPhail or Campbell will not be the next Overton coach. A surprise name will enter the conversation soon. A current local guy, similar to Anderson in may ways, might be making a shorter drive to his new job at Overton compared to where he is now. I'll give you a hint - he is a much wanted head coach....
fballfiend
I agree, no McPhail, no Campbell (although Campbell would not be a terrible option, clearly did something right at HL). I'm thinking this hire creates another hole at HC, that is the way of the coaching profession, particularly our good buddies at Bradford. Read an article about who the Principal holds in high esteem and alluded to members of his committee, would expect the new hire to have direct connections to the old guard of Brunette and Tribue. Fiend, Perhaps we read the same article, or at least on the same line of thinking per sources. You're right it would create another hole at HC. This guy is an old school guy. All signs pointing in that direction.
fballfiend
Where can this article be read? Maybe you could put it on here for all to read. Here's the link...didn't say specifically who is on his committee, assuming that he may contact those early influences though and seek their input. Could be way off but all signs point to an HC experienced guy (so I HIGHLY doubt any first timers as you would expect with the Overton job as it is a quality metro one) and probably a guy either in the system or who has experience in the system. As you know, it is a unique scenario in Metro. https://sportsnashville.wordpress.com/2013/12/24/principals-have-more-control-over-metro-coaching-carousel-in-recent-years/

workinprogress
I would expect committed members to be Pelham, Shuler, brunette, tribue, and sanders. If they go with experience in metro I would say two names wlll come out in broome and law. Broome would create an opening but not sure if that is who y'all are thinking. Law was a finalist for the hillsboro job. If they go with youth in metro it's a toss up.
metroRUMORS
Work, I wasn't thinking Broome or Law. Though who I was thinking does have similar ties to Broome. This guy's in 6A. Fiend - what's your gut on this?
workinprogress
Ah well I was thinking that coach would not be interested. Would be a good hire though. Figured he would stay to the east.
