Coaching style hurts Lewis Co. when it comes to the Big Games it proves again last night down 2 touchdowns with 2 minutes and something left and still running the ball. I said it for over 20 Yrs. he will never make it to the Big Dance with that type of coaching style.

Go watch Perry co then. You do realize how many teams have went to and won state? Go on somewhere!!!!!

Some don't agree with his style because that is not the way it's done on the video games that they gain their great knowledge of football. If we had not been able to run the ball and control the clock the game could have got away from us quick. I believe the for the most part the Panther family appreciates the 200+ wins that Coach Sharp has given us. I for one refuse to second guess a coach that just lead us to the semis and 13 wins and 22 straight years in the playoffs.

I agree.I know a lot pf programs that would love to have him if he were to ever want to leave.but don't see that happening. He is Lewis Co. football

lol the same beat down CPA is going to get?

That's kinda what I was thinking. I wishem the best, but if they couldn't manage more than a 1 score win over us, what I hear about Alcoa sounds like a different breed. I hope they tame them, bc that gives us even more hope for the next few years, if they can make it a game. It just doesn't sound good.

It's all about student leadership man. We've got some really great ones, and then they drag the whole town along with them. They've really put everyone on their backs. It's great to see!

agreed. From what I've been seeing though alcoas majority of starters or sophomores!. Doesn't look to promising for anyone else for the next two years haha. I hope CPA makes it a game as well. But going by the past 9 years. No one has kept is close vs CAK or Alcoa. Highly doubt this will be the year someone does

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
