Say it ain't so ? Can't stand them sweatervester hosers ! Gotta love em , don't have to like em!

If you lived in Jackson I promise you your kid would be a sweatervester! It might not be TCA but it would be one of the sweatervester privates as we are called. As I said before our boys are small because we don't have any money to buy food! We are paying tuition! Your kid would probably weigh 10 pounds less!! Haha

I don't think the game in September is a good gauge for either team. I have seen how much better the Cards are and I am sure TCA is as well. Both coaches know that for sure! They are both awesome Coaches and will have a few new wrinkles for sure .Different game in November. Does Adamsville's experience make a difference ?? #7 will play for 4 quarters, he ran it 34 times last week and then jogged to the hotel where he was staying at!

Great objective point of view. I agree that both teams will be totally different. They wouldn't be one of the 4 best teams in the state if they hadn't improved. I suspect both teams are more disciplined and more mature. TCA will play to the end. In the ECS whipping TCA never quit. They were trying to score as clock ran out. Whoever quits a little early loses this game. I don't think either will quit till the final horn sounds. I suspect Aville's experience will be an advantage no doubt. TCA will need to have the lead late in the fourth to win it. If they are behind in the fourth it will be difficult due to Aville's running ability and offensive line. I also think if TCA goes up by 2 TD's it will be difficult to catch them because Aville is more of a grinding team. Two days away. Hope the weather doesn't keep us from traveling well. We need a big crowd like last time.

Well, it's 7 am and I'm headed to football practice with my son. All of the dad's are practicing with team today. Supposedly we are going to play their position during drills for 10 minutes. Coach Butler said the dads may be sore when they eat Thanksgiving dinner! What a great idea and great bonding experience. Can't wait to see the circus! I just hope 911 isn't too busy! It's 20 degrees so I guess I had better wear an extra sweatervest.

Okay, only one dad injured this morning. Our resident FBI agent popped a hamstring on a go route! Just glad his son#3 will be carrying the rock tommorrow night and not the dad!! What a fun time and memorable morning! About 30 dads showed up and went through drills with the boys and then stayed and watched as they prepared to beat the birds from down in McNairy. Headed to McNairy for my first bird feast of the week. My mom cooks a good turkey but the feast tommorrow night will taste better. Sorry mom!!

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
