ReitzFan
Hey reitz everything we say on here is all in fun. I dont like the rule either but it is what we had to play under from the start. Adamsville has fine tuned its defense and has everybody healthy for a change. This bunch has been as physical as I have seen over the last 3 weeks. I hope we can force a couple of turnovers on your offense or it might be a long night for us. 15aa will represent in big game again. 3 out of last 4 I agree with you about the rule. Funny thing is though is that neither TCA or Adamsville realized the extent of the rule. TCA honestly thought that they would host and called the TSSAA to confirm and that is when we found out. It;s simply frustrating when you try and look at things logically. I remember another thread where Cardinal fans were not looking forward to coming to Jackson either. Your assessment will prove to be correct. In the playoffs, he who commits the fewest turnovers has the better chance to win. It's a given that Neary is going to get some yardage. We can't allow him another 220 plus yard game and expect to win down there again. I also suspect that you will have a better passing attack than you showed during the earlier meeting. As your return game may be the best in the state, i am most concerned about the kicking game. Parker is going to need kickoffs that travel 9 miles or have strategically placed pooch kicks that allow our coverage to get downfield and keep the ball out of the hands of your dangerous return man. Same goes for our punting game as well. I expect this to be an Ali v Frasier type of game. Both teams are going to throw haymakers at each other all night. KermitDeeFrog
I am going to say this once and then I hope to put it to bed. Adamsville is getting a GIFT from the TSSAA in getting to host this game. TCA was District 15A Champion, Adamsville was second. TCA has already beaten Adamsville at Adamsville. TCA was the #1 seed in Quad 4. Adamsville was the #2 seed in Quad 3. Being a #1 seed playing a #2 seed should trumph the even/odd quad hosting rule, especially when both teams are from the same district. And let's be honest, if the shoe was on the other foot, the Cardinal faithful would feel the exact same way that the Lion faithful feel about having to make a return trip to Adamsville when TCA has really earned the right to host this game. If you say different, you are lying. Unfortunately, the TSSAA is not going to do the right and logical thing. So, it is what it is. TCA will just have to load up the busses and head down the highway and take care of business one more time. I hope for an injury free game and am pleased that someone from 15A will be playing for a state title. It is rigged to be quad 3 one year quad 4 the next if huntingdon wouldve made the semis even though Huntingdon had a better district record. If Riverside and huntingdon wouldve made it wouldve been at Riverside dispite their district record. It is what it is. Next year quad 4 will get it hopefully if huntingdon goes to playoffs we will be quad 4 again, in case we could make a run for it
KermitDeeFrog
BTW Adamsville was my preseason 2a pick and Im going to pick them in this one as well. Good luck to both teams btw TCA it is hard to beat a good team twice but dont mean you cant just play hard and hope for the best. That said GO CARDINALS..............St. Louis that is

cardfan
the Adamsville defense has been giving up an average of just over 100 yards of total offense per game. TCA has been putting points on the board like nobody's business. It looks like long range forecast is for good weather and cool conditions. I don't know if we can stop TCAs passing attack as it has gotten increasingly better throughout the year. We do have a couple of surprises that TCA didn't get the pleasure of seeing the first meeting but is it enough? I think this is gonna be a huge crowd for this as I see football fans from all over west Tennessee coming to watch this epic battle. I am a Cardinal through and through but can we win this I don't know.
utvol2
Gonna be a classic I'm sure!! Gonna have to play our best game to win this one!! Praying that it is injury free! I know there will be good sportsmanship as these two programs have much respect for each other! Either team is capable of winning this game! I hope it is us!! I know the west will be well represented no matter which team goes to Cookeville!! Go Cards!!!!!!
Intense
Okay. I know you Aville fans have been waiting on me since I'm the only TCA fan that will jaw with you!! Ha. I've got to come to McNairy County two days in a row!! Whew!!! Going to be a classic as UTVOL said. The following is a brief initial assessment. I can bring more later: 1. Adamsville will have the best Football player on the field in Neary. 2. Adamsville will have one of the better players and athletes on the field with Wallis. 3. TCA will easily have best QB on the field. 4. TCA will have the best Receivers. They have 5 that can catch and run. Who are you going to stop? 6. TCA will have the best secondary. 22 INTs for the year. Dangerous to pass against us. 7. Adamsville will have the best OL but TCA has a very solid OL that has more heart than you can imagine. 8. Adamsville will have best DL but TCA is not far behind. They are getting better every week. 9. TCA has advantage in kicking game. 10. Linebackers are even. TCA's best defensive player, Rogers OLB, did not play in first game. Finally, the following are just pure athletes for TCA: Ross, Garrott, Bond, Goldsmith, Akin, Pagoaga, Rogers, Parker, Diggs, Smith, Reviere. Neary will be best player and Wallis, Burcham and Irons would be in that group but it will be difficult for the Cards to match that many athletes. They will have to beat TCA so bad on the line of scrimmage(which may be possible) and Neary will have to run wild (which is certainly possible) to win the game. Turnovers will also be a key. Galilee of Mitchell came and visited with me at the game and he said he was amazed at the athletes TCA had. 6 different players scored TD's! I picked TCA by a FG in first game. This time around TCA 35-24. Will be close all the way to the end. Hate to see one of these great teams lose! slimshady
The key to stopping a throwing offense is to lay the wood to the receivers and make them pay for every catch...before you know it..they start taking there eyes off the ball...in fear of an earholing...
