Somebody brought up danny joe's name earlier in the thread..I will tell yall of another one of his escapades in the 72 title game against Kingston.

It was drawing down to maybe end of the 4th qtr, we was ahead, and Danny Joe goes under center to take the snap.....he looks around to surmise the field.....he sets his hands under the center and says....RETTY...SETTY..MEATBALLS AN SPAGETTY...CENTER IT ON REDDY.....HIKE!!...yall may thank I'm lyin, but I ain't

...we was also talkin bout the Tobacco Bowl, I played in I think it was the last one we ever had. I was a Junior that year and we played Madison and the great Lonnie Sadler a black kid that had already signed to play at Vanderbilt. We helt him to minimal yardage and won I think 22-19....I think they had one more after that then the playoffs took center stage.

Haha!! Nice!! We're coming too. I hope we bring the same team I've watched the past two weeks, and not the one I've seen a few times this years.

I heard this story a few years ago & now my son quotes that alot when I ask if he's ready to go out the door.

It's the only game I missed this year but the way I understand it the Sycamore game is what really brought this team together. Made them fight together for a win. It's also the first game we blocked an extra point attempt and that became a trend.

the way i understand it the refs helped yall out.  same thing with the gallatin game.
