We got to go to Smith Tue. see if we can play better than the first time we played them. Your right about tourney but going in as a one or two is big in this district.

Smith is a tough place to get a W but Cannon is playing well and should roll. Cannon will be a 1... That 2 seed will be coveted.

Would like to congratulate DeKalb junior Loren Cripps on scoring her 1000th point tonight in the loss to LA.

So if ive sorted this out correctly the tourney shapes up like this:

LA vs. Macon

Central vs. DeKalb

Smith vs. Upperman

 

How does everyone see this shaping up? That Smith/Upperman game could potentially be interesting with the way the Lady Bees have been playing lately, and Macon beat LA earlier in the season. LA is on a roll though.

This is not the same LA team that lost to Macon earlier in the season. LA is finally starting to play up to preseason expectations. If they continue to play the way they did tonight, they'll be a very hard 'out' during the tourney.

Let's not forget that was the night that the officials showed up and hour and a half late. Someone said that happened again at Macon County last night? Something sounds a bit odd about this. . . . . I find it sorta odd that officials show up late every time Macon County has a big home game. . . .

Those  officials that Macon has is not in our association. They couldnt get 8 aa officals at home games  due to them being in another district last year and not having enough time or they had a contract with that bunch that they had to honor. On a different note who will make the all district team?

I think Upperman and Smth will be the game to watch in the first round.  LA should not have any trouble with Macon, LA is playing well going into tourney.
