So let me get this straight they had the flu on Thursday but not on Friday.

 

I will take a guess they were dodging Baylor in the state duals bracket.

Btw... Connell/Cornell were not there Thursday. Again, not sure about this tournament being optional, but illness likely played a part in the quad.

We had several miss the trip for the FR/MBA duals due to illness.

I was surprised to see Addison & Adam in the line-up for the tourney, evidently they kicked it sooner and wanted to compete. We had planned to bring Brock over, but he was still down that Friday morning.

Over the past 30 some odd years I've not noticed any mccallie wrestlers skip BIG matches (they may bump), not sure why the two aforementioned wrestlers missing would would miss Thursday and it be productive other than recharge/recovery for GP West

There has been a lot of sickness going around in this area, our 138 who wrestled Adam last week is also sick right now so it doesn't surprise me that Adam has been too. It is that time of year, I've had it all week myself. I don't see it as strategy that a couple of them couldn't wrestle the other night, most coaches will sit you out for a dual to rest up for a tournament that weekend if you've been sick or a little banged up.
