oldkodger
I am starting this so the LA vs BC thread can go away. I have heard Tyner has a better team this year (record looks great) but I haven't seen them. LA has already exceeded a lot of this years expectations since they have only one returning starter and are pretty young. The last 6 years Tyner has impressed me every time these two have played and seems to play the same type of game with a 6"10 center or a 6"3 center. LA, the last 6 years has played a different style than Tyner and has had a lot of success against them. What is interesting this year is LA plays a similar game to Tyner's style of play. That and the fact that Tyner has home crt changes everything. LA is a huge underdog but don't be surprised if this game is closer than most expect. The last time Tyner played LA(2012), we lost on a last second shot that bounced around the rim before falling in. Good game but not the ending that I wanted. LA has had good run in the substate since 2008 and all of the games have been in LA(your only loss was against Howard in 2010). This is a different setting on Monday but I am expecting a challenging game due to LA's experience and competitiveness in these games. Sectional games can be very strange some times but I am glad we have the home court this year. Our seniors remember that game two years ago and know what it takes to get to the next level. At this stage of the playoffs, there are no underdogs and our guys know this. Every team playing on Monday is one game away from the 'Boro!!! Goldencloud
LA will be coming to Choo-Choo town on a mission.........In most peoples eyes this team has overachieved this year but now people are realizing their more talent there than they originally thought. The road to the Boro leads thru Traintown for LA and that's OK !! Sometimes the longer way to your ultimate destination works out better anyway !! The Rams are in for a battle so you better be ready.....cause the Wildcats are coming !!! Go HOG-EYE !!!
modincus
this should not be close...but hogeye's discipline and coaching will make it a ballgame...

One of the most over-achieving teams I've ever seen play, but there comes a time when we have to accept reality. Go HOGEYE!

I remember a year that Upperman went down to Chatt a huge under dog but whipped up on Howard. I have no doubt Livingston will have a good game plan. Good luck to you guys... give em heck

Good luck to you guys... give em heck Game was so long ago I bet you don't even remember the year. Not only will it be about a good game plan but LA's match up with Tyner's 8 man rotation. It should be a good game but the "Rams" know the deal. We will see soon enough!

dctiger
How many seniors does LA have? Only Nivens? Regardless of the outcome, this experience will be invaluable for the team into next season too. Good luck Monday night from DC!
