Also, listen to u guys, talking about transfers and this player and that player. Memphis basketball is BS!!!!! TSSAA has transfer rules for everybody but Memphis. And no they won't be as good as Findlay prep or monverde. They openly recruit, not cheat like Memphis schools!

Stupid? Pretty harsh words there coach. I never said Memphis was the only place that cheats, that's just what the topic kinda was about. They all cheat, all those schools u mentioned cheat. That's why they need to separate the public and private schools. I've been around Tennessee high school bball for over 40 years, player, coach, ref, u name it, I've done it! I'm not stupid, but have been accused of being a little crazy from time to time. Lol

 

Of all the teams that made it to the 'Boro this year, look at the truly hometown teams that played with their feeder program players. Oak Ridge and Meigs County. I'm sure I'm missing someone, but these were the best public school teams in the state in their class, IMO. The rest of the teams were a bunch of AAU teams playing under the disguise of a school team.

They honestly wasn't the best public school in the state, they just got some good matchups in the state tournament

I think he will make East one of the top school in Tennessee, because of the AAU program he had is one of  the best I seen in years. It want surprise me if DJ Jackson from Fayette Ware ends up at East along with the rest off the young superstars in Memphis.

Yes East will be a national powerhouse in 2 years max, the new CPA of Memphis. He's gonna be able to get ANY kid in the Memphis area to come play for him. He will have all the big schools on speed dial for his players

I agree, I will love to see CPA and Memphis East play in two years.

 It doesn't matter about the NBA experience, some of the best coaches never played NBA basketball, but it does help get the better high school players.

I have one question since I don't keep up with Memphis hoop, did Penny take the job or not? The earlier blog showed a statement that he was not taking it did he take it or is he as good at lying as he is at playing bball?
