MountainTroll
I'z just hopin' that Sissy Mountain can meet up with Boyd somewhere's along the way. We ain't had a chance to give @reaction's boys a good ole Mountain whoopin' in a while. Edited May 11, 2014 by MountainTroll
soccerfreak92
Should be good games Edited May 12, 2014 by soccerfreak92
tarp
Boyd Buchanan, Chattanooga Christian, Signal Mountain, and Knox Catholic win the match ups you listed. I have CCS going down to Magnet unless they play better than they did Tuesday. They have the ability to play great soccer, just thought they played flat on Tue. Signal could've won 5-1. Signal beat Knox Catholic in the Baylor tourney badly but I have a lake house close to Rockwood and can't see them beating Knox Cath. East Ridge is a good team if you let them have a lead. Still think Buc's beat them. So my picks are Signal, (through red & black glasses) Magnet, Boyd, and Knox Cath. But everyone has to play them out. No really easy games left! saw4ND
Let's just get all the A-AA games on the board.... My predictions: Sullivan South vs. Chuckey-Doak - Winner: Sullivan South, but I don't think they have a chance to make it to the final 8. Greeneville vs Univ School JC - Winner: Greenville easily Rockwood vs Knox Catholic - Winner: Knox Catholic, but I don't think they have a chance to make it to the final 8. CAK vs Fulton - Winner: CAK easily CSAS vs Hixson - Winner: CSAS East Ridge vs Boyd Buchanan - Game of the night - Winner: Boyd. They got their wake up call last week and I think they win this one, but East Ridge is dangerous when they are on, so it could go either way. Signal Mtn vs Merrol Hyde - Winner: Signal easily Murf. Central Magnet vs. CCS - Winner: Murf. Central Magnet. CCS is running on fumes White House Heritage vs Stratford - Winner: WHH Hume-Fogg vs Sycamore - Winner: Hume Fogg Hickman Co. vs Page - Winner: Page CPA vs Columbia Academy - Winner: CPA Crockett Co. vs South Fulton - Winner: Crockett Lexington vs Dyersburg - Winner: Dyersburg Jackson North Side vs Raleigh Egypt - Winner: J. North Side Sheffield vs Madison - Winner: Sheffield Pretty much guessed on on the last 4, because there just aren't many match ups between West TN teams and the rest of the state to use for comparative scoring. I've heard that Central Magnet is a pretty good team. CCS has played them the past 2 years, and a guy I know that is close to the team said that they have a lot of seniors this year. I think CCS will be in for a tough game, but they will find a way to pull off the win in the end.
ViewFromCheapSeats
Interesting to note that approximately 75% of teams at Region playoff level are public schools.

Yeah and one of the 25 % from private schools will unfortunately win state like always. *COUGH COUGH* CAK Edited May 13, 2014 by soccerfreak92
HerrFutbol
Interesting to note that approximately 75% of teams at Region playoff level are public schools Do you consider Magnet Schools public? They are, but then again they are not. They do not have the same student pool to choose from when conducting try outs. Usually these students are exceptional at something. They also have class time devoted to their sports. They are supposed to be diverse, but I see them as a way of segregating (maybe not by race or religion, but by ability). I probably sound like I am whining, so I will stop here. I could be totally wrong about magnet schools, if I am, someone please educate me.
