What's going on in 6AAA?

What's going on in the District?   What's to expect from Rhea Co., White Co., Cookeville, Warren Co., Stone Memorial, and Cumberland County?  I know that Stone has a new coach and solid seniors returning plus several improved underclassmen - should be better than last.  CCHS is basically the same team as last, they really have 15-18 ladies who would be playing minutes for most teams - very deep - can they get past the Boro teams?  -might be a year away from that.....

i think rhea and cook. will be down. warren co. will be much improved with the transfer from cookeville. white will be good again considering they lost alot. i think cchs wins the district rather easily.

I agree, White Co will be strong again.  I think your guard that had career games against CCHS last year will be back and you guys had a very strong Freshmen/JV team last year - great "overtime" game last year in the Freshmen/JV District tourney with the CCHS Freshmen team. Should be good games for years to come.  I wasn't impressed with Warren County (varsity or freshmen/JV) last year when CCHS played them, but that might just be match-ups.  Looking forward to the season.

warren co. got the transfer from cookeville karigan turner so they will be tough to go along with what they had. didn't know if you knew that tenntwin.

I saw where you said that earlier.  I don't remember the name, but I'm sure I'll recognize her when she hits the floor.  What position does she play?  What her strengths?

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
