dctiger
you better move cannon co. way up on that list. they are just as good as last year if not better. The only thing that worries me is that Cannon sometimes shoots themselves out of games. About halfway through last season they looked to be one of the better AA teams and then got hit by a shooting drought. Tenntwin
Macon County will be adding the super freshman in Seth Carlisle - this kid may take them to another level like he is doing with their football team - super freak athlete - only 14 too. hitme
DC will surprise some people. Central will not be third. Saw them this summer and they still do not look very good. LA is going to be tough to beat this year. I'll say 1. LA-bringing back all but one from a substate team including district MVP can't be ignored. 2. YAI (are they even eligible? How will tourney seeding go?)-still have the two 6''8" impact players. Look for Blevins to be a force this year. 3. MC-returning the whole team (I think). 4. DC-couple of transfers fit in well with some solid returning talent, despite losing 2013-14 Freshman of the Year Jennings. 5. CC-still bringing back some good talent despite losing Henley. Tough, well coached. Have a great sophomore post player. 6. UHS-lost a lot, but bringing back a great guard in Guffey. 7. SC-don't know much about smith other than they still have Huff. Solid player and great shooter. 8. CM-looked like they had a new coach. Can he get the program moving in the right direction? 2-7 is going to be a dogfight though. YI- one of the 6'8 guys has quit the program but they do have another pretty tall guy, about 6'3. They are not eligible to compete in the post season this year either, and yes, Blevins should have an excellent year.
dctiger
Lamb the really good shooter? I saw DeKalb Co at Gallatin- they play hard as usuall and it looked like the pg (transfer maybe) had some range to shoot. The PG is a transfer also but is still on the team. Not sure if Lamb played in Gallatin or not,

That was one of York's strong points was height.
hitme
Really? The big guy for York really quit? That was one of York's strong points was height. Yep. New Coach, New rules and he made the decision not to play. Wish it was different, but it is what it is. He was a good player and will be most definitely missed. Lots of new faces for the programs at YI. Last year new baseball coach, this year new football, Boys and girls basketball coaches. Baseball turned around from 3 district wins over 3 years, to winning 5 district games last season, which still isn't good, but much better than the 3 previous years combined. Praying the other new coaches can have the same effect on their respective programs.

captnoname
Cannon County will be fine this year wbryguy, they are solid at every position and have a good bench. The year that they went to sub-state 2010-2011 I think they were very similar to this year's team. I saw Cannon Co a couple of times this summer and they are very good, imo. Stealer007
Cannon Co will have a good ball club. Will be a very good year in the district.

BigBoy2008
MC lost two of their starters from last year but gain freshman Carlisle. If Welch doesn't try to go to deep on the bench it could be a great year.
