Just finished watching tape of MoEast vs Alcoa...If WB doesn't get some things fixed fast, they will struggle mightily with the RB (#7) and the QB (#11), they look like two very good athletes. The QB ran the opening kickoff back for a td, but it was called back for penalty....they then drove the ball down inside the one yard line, and it looked like the QB's whole body was in the end zone on 4th down, but they didn't give it to him. Alcoa drives for a td, and then East comes right back and drives for a td. From there they had a couple of turnovers that really cost them and Alcoa adjusted well to slow them down...but I think most Alcoa fans would agree that the first half of that game was a lot closer than the score.

 

Our QB's will have to be very careful with the ball, both of those athletes play defense, too...if we throw a int to them, it will be six points the other way. This will be a tough game for us...I think we can win it, but it will take a much better effort from all involved. Hopefully, our guys will have their mind right Friday night.

How did practice go today?

I had my own practice to attend....but, from what I was told they ran, and ran, and ran...then took a water break....then they ran, and ran, and ran...then another short water break...then they ran, and ran, and ran....water break...then they ran some more....after that, the ones that could still walk practiced. I'm not sure exactly how the rest of practice went....there was a JV game and most of the coaches were down there, JV lost 13-6...our JV team looks bad. Our Freshmen went to MoEast tonight and I hear they put 60 points on MoEast, winning 60-21, or something similar to that.

      One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.

      It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.

      Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
