SEC1rules
Thoughts and predictions? I think HC wins this without much trouble. However, I have heard that NW is improved but don't know much about them. At this point, I don't think HC is in a position to take anyone lightly and needs to put together a complete game. I would rather peak late than early and am not worried about this team yet. I just expect more disciplined play out of HC than I've seen. TheCommissioner
The Pats can name the score in this one
pilgrim
I think Northwest climbs out of the basement this year. Not they they will beat HC, but I do think they get at least 1 win this year that they aren't supposed to and maybe even finish close to 5-5. revved1
I believe this will be a week for HC to have issues ironed out and being able to play a complete disciplined game, which would be great leading into Ridgeway. Defense will once again dominate. HC 45 - NW 10. Edited September 2, 2014 by revved1
Drewcephus
For the history buffs out there (FactsOnly -or- Olddevil), when was the last time that Northwest came to Patriot Stadium undefeated? They are 2-0 and I'm sure coming with a bit of confidence! The Big Red can't snooze through this one. With proper execution, this will be a strong game for HC. Go Big RED!!! BigDave1967
Henry County takes the last train to Clarksville-Northwest and comes away with an easy win.
gtripledip
Yep, northwest is 2-0. Win against Todd Central and Stewart County. Enought said. Yes NW is improved and will show up looking to pull the Hugh upset. It will not happen. Henry Couny 45-

olddevil
No clue. I bet OldDevil will though. Qbcprez would know too. Where's he? In 2003 , Northwest came to Paris after beating Kenwood 50-6 and Northeast 34-6. They beat Donnie Webbs' last team at Patriot stadium 22-20 before finishing the year 9-3 and two rounds into the playoffs. The Pats finished he year 1-9'' Northwest beat us the next year in Clarksville28-27 in Joe Gaddis' first year ( the game with the infamous roughing the punter call on the blocked punt ).Pretty sure that was NW's last win over us. GO BIG RED Good stuff olddevil. I can still vividly remember the 2004 game. Never been so mad at an officiating crew in my life. The punt was, if I recall correctly, just one of several very questionable calls that night.

Yes, it was a very bad night for the zebra's calling the game. I hope that I never see a game that poorly officiated again. Although I did see one not too far off from that in Springfield one year - don't remember the year but it was several ago - but that was just one ref in particular making the horrid calls. I am looking for the Big Red to take another step at improving overall with the Defense stepping it up big! Ready for Friday night! Go Big RED!!! olddevil
As many as seven Patriots are questionable for Friday night. Most should be OK but it demands complete focus by the rest of the team.Northwest will come in here confident and fired up. Anything less than a total effort could spell disaster.
