I've never been a coach past peewee ball but in games like tonight you just want to get it over with and not have any injuries after the score got up there. This should leave a bad enough taste in our kids mouth to get better. We have a better team than we showed tonight without our starting tailback/ LB and district MVP also starting defensive end and losing pretty much your best Dline to a broke toe in the locker room before the game pretty much gives a coach heart burn. We will be back and ready to win the district. We get healthy we will be a force to be reckoned with.

There was only one positive about tonight game. That TC and SC got beat bad also. So they really can't give us a hard time

Congrats to East. They looked really good. They were classy also. And man they were fast!!! Would love to see them take down CPA.

First let me say to the good folks of Westmoreland, you all are respected because you are a class act all the way around and you do things the right way. Your kids fought to the end and one game doesn't end the season at this point. Who knows, we may see you all again. Players should keep their heads up and focus on righting the ship next game.

East had a good night. I won't say anything more. Good luck to you all the rest of the season. Too bad this game probably won't be played again next year. I really enjoyed my time in westy.

Uppercumberland after seeing both teams it's honestly hard to say. East vs upperman was a scrimmage and East vs westy was a game. Two different scenarios. Both have similar kids. The best is probably #4 from westy. He's a tough kid that plays his heart out. Westy is better than what was shown tonight. Not sure who all they have left but I would think they have a chance to win their district.

You would have to be glad East shut me up because being from Macon like yourself, you never were able to shut ANYBODY up, much less Westmoreland.
