Ha.. nice to be missed.. I think. Not posting because I just battling my nagging health issues. We all have crosses to bear and thorns in the flesh. Though my perpetual pains are tough to deal with at times, there are many, many more who have it way worse. Sorry to bother y'all... ha!

Bruceton is a pretty solid team. They have some running backs that aren't scared to lower their shoulder and go. This should/could be a great game... TD or less either way in this one.

Dresden is underachieving. I was expecting more this season.

Your not alone on that view. Hopefully new coach has figured things out and can win 4 more and hopefully play close with the stangs and uc. I wasn't surprised by losses to westview and Trenton, but defense looked like wet paper. Hopefully they figured something out and can make a run at playoffs.

Youth and only having 6 seniors is killer. Personally, I figured this year would be tough just because lack of game experience for the youngsters. Next year and two years after should be good. I think just making the playoffs is a good goal this year. That can be a tall order.

If you want to be good in 1 year or 2 it starts now for the young guys the effort the younger kids put in will pay off i the end. The next 2 years my question would be where is Dresden going to get lineman from? We are going to have plenty of guys but no line. The younger kids need to be thinking of their seniors this is it for them. Give the effort to help the team get the W every friday night. Don't worry about stats they will come if you give you all.

They have zero shot at Huntingdon and Union City so they need to focus on the other teams they have a shot against.

Sooo much talent on Lions.. yet.. they not dominating yet. Perhaps these youth were so used to huge wins in youth leagues, they think their talent alone will win. NOT! Hard work trumps talent. But IF you have both in big supply, them lotsa W's will happen. I don't know, just speculation, but talent can get in way of winning if it's not handled in right way. Hungry, hard workers gets more W's than gifted talent. Now both... oh yeah! Time will tell.
