Milan vs CPA

Maybe more of a sign of a respect for Milan and their potential in the second half. After the opening score of the second half, the 2nd & 3rds played the rest of the game.

Guys, you have to remember, it's not the other team's job to stop their offense but yours.  Do you need for their coach to come and coach your team too, so it would be even?

CPA starters played the first series of the 2nd half and scored. Then the reserves came in and played almost 2 quarters. With over 3 minutes to go, the CPA reserves drove to the Milan red zone, had first down and took a knee 4 times giving the ball back to Milan. Is that not class?

Yes it was classy. Nothing but respect for you guys.

No disrespect intended for any other program, but I am just a little taken aback by some of the Milan taunts. No question that west of Knoxville the Milan program is the standard that everyone else hopes they can reach. No question that the Dawgs struggled last year. That is football. They are making progress this year but haven't arrived yet. When Milan is back, I wouldn't want to be the school that "taunted" them. Just saying....

Funny that the people who don't handle failure very well are the same people who can't handle success.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
