Watertown at Gordonsville

I think it will be the exact opposite of last year. Last year, Watertown came out in the first half playing good football and Gville came out dead and couldn't get anything going. Then in the 2nd half Gville started handing the ball off to Cason every play and watertown had no answer. This year, Gordonsville comes out and plays well in the first half and is ahead. But then in the second half I think watertown will start handing it off to Turner every play and that will be the end of it.

If they shut down Luke down Watertowns got alot of other weapons, I will take Watertown by three scores. Should be a great game, looking forward to it.

You have flipped your lid.

Watertown has other weapons, but from what I've seen, they're hardly used.

Everything that team does on offense revolves around Luke. If we can stop him, I think we'll be alright.

The running back for H20 is quite impressive.  He runs hard and with a meaning.  I will have to agree with both previous entries about weapons.  H20 does revolve around the RB, and they seem to have a few more athletes.    When people say "weapons" they normaly refer to skill players.  Lets not over look line play.  Which H20 may have an advantge.

Well we will have to see if my lid is still intact in about seven hours, good luck trying to stop him and the rest of our boys. See you at the game.

I think we did a fair job of stopping Luke, and it showed on the scoreboard.

IMO, High and George definitely need to be used more.

I though High was a little more dangerous with his speed.

    • Congratulations to Huntingdon and Station Camp. Lots of good softball in Tennessee. Alcoa been media favorite last two seasons.
    • Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!
    • No doubt. ORC a good dude.
    • In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
