Do these dramatic occurences result in the final score Friday nights? No didn't think so..... You keep worrying about the petty aspects and I'll worry about what matters to win the game.

MJ is looking very strong in the weight room, returning back the whole O-line. With an average height/weight of 6'3 260. We do need more speed and skilled positions. Otherwise everything is going in the right direction.

Ps when you sign up to play at MJ it's not all picking daisys.... You can't expect perfection 100 percent of the time. It's a tough organization run by tough minded individuals. It's hard to understand the word tough when WCP comes from a school that hasn't beat MJ in 6 years.

I will delete my account if we lose to y'all this year I can promise you that. And I would argue that this stuff DOES reflect wins and losses. And is a reflection of the program and the coaches.

And by the way, those "tough" minded individuals, sure have a rough time from keeping his players and coaches. We will see about that oline. I can't wait for football. Seems your kids are worried about extra curricular activities. Our kids are focused.

All talk now tho. Just try and keep your kids in school. Because what I'm hearing, the players are wanting out.

Not sure exactly what happened but I'm sure any negative action of a child is more a reflection of the parents than their football program or coaches.

Your exactly right... 3 of the 4 players involved were from central with the other one graduated.

I highly count chowbay and Anderson from central, that was because of some illegal activity to play another sport.

And the kicker is returning next year. He did not graduate. He was arrested. You know the district st MVP

Reguardless. Kids make mistakes and it's how you respond. They all just have one thing in common...... MJHS

There is a reason 3 of the 4 transferred to Central. The other one had previously graduated from MJ. 2 of them got cut from basketball last year because the coach wouldn't put up with character issues. 1 got cut from football back in spring last year for same reason.

Kicker left Oakland due to character issues and came to MJ. Had nothing to do with MJHS. He is graduating this year.

As far as illegal activity; I don't think so. Yes he wanted to play basketball; his mom moved to Hendersonville and dad lives in WC school district. Nothing illegal about that.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
