Does anyone want to take a gander at what 4a will look like next year, assuming that no one moved up?

Yes they leave one weak conference for another except for South. Word is South will also be down the next few years after this years squad.

I say the next 3 the 7th grade group is very weak big drop off from their 8th grade group.

South will be down a little next year but should be better the next 2 or 3 after that. I really expect Elizabethton to be part of the conference as well.

EHS will do what they can to move up, the current outlook for us is Johnson County and Unicoi being the closest with possibly CD and West Greene as well as another Greene Co or Hamblin Co school. EHS would much rather play in the 4A conference as travel would be significanly less.

 

As for Gville leaving one weak conference for another, this conference could steamroll the BRAC outside of GHS. If EHS moves up you'll have a consistent 3 way battle annually for the conference championship.
