Lol just asking because Clinton really lacks speed on defense, so I just figured Cleveland would have a back or two that could take it to the house on them.

Think y'all will open it up more next week? I know you got the starters out and all that, but I find it hard to believe we the speed Cleveland usually has that they could only muster 10 against an average Clinton D. Seem y'all with your speed could've gotten around the ends on them some???

I think it will be a better game than some of these fans we have are claiming. I don't know what they watched tonight, but I wasn't too impressed. I was impressed with our O, but the D looked average at best, but maybe Soddy offense is just that good. Thankfully, I don't think Cleveland has much of an aerial attack from my understanding.

 

OR will have to clog the hole in the D line to be more effective. We can not afford to take a quarter off like we did I. The 2nd tonight. But the running game seemed to be very effective and now we need are WR'S all need to be hitting on all cylinders.

We had 2 or 3 runs that were a shoe lace away from taking it to the house. A couple of plays where wrs were open for tds but the QB couldn't put the ball where he needed. Clinton's only score was really on a hail Mary pass

Very odd. Would seem to me that that's where Cleveland could've hurt Clinton.

Cleveland had questionable play calling all night long. Kept trying to run up the middle, had no success. But did have some nice runs to the outside.

SD was much more effective with the run than I expected, just to point that out.  The game had some tense moments when it seemed either  team could grab the momentum. OR vs Clinton was 44-21, or close to that from memory. Clinton lost tonight by 3 points.   Numbers say OR should  win but I know better than to go in over confident against a team OR has not played, moreso during playoffs.

SD was a very balanced offense coming into the game tonight. Probably the best O that we have seen the whole year, which is kind of sad to a point.
