Hey Steam - Is Postie still in jail?

Talked to him last night at the football dinner held at a local Church. He told me that he was kicked off coacht for a few weeks. He said he was playing a joke to CPA fans and didn't get to finish it before getting kicked off. He also wrote a letter to coacht apologizing to anyone he my of offended. He also said good luck to both teams and he prayed for no injures.

I was wondering what happened. There was no way to know it was a joke and it wasn't funny, but apology accepted and appreciate the good wishes. Look forward to having him back on boards and we will assume he meant no ill will to the players. Gonna be cold tonight in the stands. I'm sure all the players will block it out after kickoff.

Oh yea, that was hilarious!

My favorite part of the joke was when a creepy middle aged man talked about how much he wanted high school kids to intentionally injure someone. SO FUNNY!!!

If I were CoachT, I'd take that letter out into my back yard, drop my pants, and take a big fat westmoreland all over it.

He made a mistake. He admitted it. He apologized. We are all human. We all make mistakes. We ask for forgiveness. We move on in our lives and try to be better Christens. God Bless

I agree. Maybe he will now be a bit more gracious to those he likes to come down so hard on. I have had to learn that lesson myself in the past.

    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
