Antwan
yes YI got blasted by UH. DC got run over by Signal. UH got steam rolled by ND. But they all got extra practice time while SC sat at home. And the reality of it is, with Trap, Herron, and Wright......they all have better head coaches to boot than SC. Things haven't been this low in Carthage since Dyer was there. What does that say for the U? Looks like 2 of those 3 lost to SC? You have no idea what you are talking about...as usual. Time to move on to schedules.

Time to move on to schedules. The transfer SC got will really help next year. He will help very much on both sides. UC man, if a freshman wasn't injured, there would have been 5 freshmen starting the last game for SC. QB next year will be much improved, a soph., with much talent, both throwing and running the ball. SC has the top three fullbacks back which looks as if there could be some pretty good guards playing next near, top tthree tailbacks back, looks like some more receivers available and returns all of the sec. along with all the LB's returning. Plus the transfer will start somewhere. SC was not a good team this year, but good enough to beat two of the teams you mentioned in your post(s). Speaking of how SC finished the year, I think even Postie would understand our situation as mentioned above. No sense in hashing out last year as we were 66% against your teams and will be MUCH improved next year especially with the transfer. Everyone have a good and safe Thanksgiving. Not hashing out anything, Antwit brought all this on with snide remarks about other programs when his hometown program aint got room to talk. The facts are, YI had 6 wins and was in the playoffs. UH had 7 wins and in second round of the playoffs. Its not how you start the season, its how you finish. Not a fan of the SC coach. Nothing personel but his team flat out quit. SC in the past could have played its Jr high team and have beat that Cannon Co team. 8aa was as weak as its ever been in 2014, SC won 3 games. That speaks volumes. Time to get some reality in Carthage and makes some changes. One transfer won't fix the bigger problem. It didn't when the qb came over from Brentwood. It didn't when Milan arrived. And probably won't effect much next year. Stupidity is doing the same thing over the same way and expecting diffrent results. Well, SC fans realize that we were not a good team - how many times do I have to say that? There were reasons that SC coaches could not control. They played the deck that was dealt them. No other team in the region started 5 freshmen the last of the season. Four started the 9th game. The team was decimated with injuries and other problems beyond control. Don't know what you are talking about when you say this team "flat out Quit", that is the sign of STUPIDITY making a statement like that. You have no idea of what you speak . How many games did Livingston win a couple years ago when they had so many hurt? There was another team that had quiet a few players hurt and had a poor year, neither team decimated as bad as SC, I don't remember you dicing the program like you have SC. Don't you dare say you haven't diced SC - calling them quitters!!!!!! Now my final comment on this:WE BEAT BOTH THE TEAMS YOU ARE COMPARING US WITH THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a good Thanksgiving Oh yes, Maynord was the coach when the QB from Brentwood came here, not that it makes any difference to us but it apparently does to you. Yes Maynard was the coach, just pointing out the fact that one transfer doesn't fix the problem. And yes we know SC had lots of problems including many injuries....problems that didn't happen to the extent they did this year under Maynard, but did back in the mid 90's. I think some of the problem is a low talent cycle in Smith Co, Gordonsville has felt this too. You will not tell me the situation that happen with Milan leading to his removale from the team would have happen under the previous coaching staff. We all know it wouldn't have. Numbers being down, players not playing motivated(quitting was harsh), and the fact that UH,YI and DC programs are not doormats like they were 10 years ago are compounding the talent pool being somewhat down. You boys can put lipstick on that pig, but its still a pig.
QSouth89
Catholic's schedule is @ Morristown East, @ CPA, Knox Central, Notre Dame, Fulton, @ Belfry KY, @ Anderson County, Carter, Cloudland and @ Union County. Central, Fulton, Anderson County, Carter and Union County are district games. Rumor has it that the CPA game might be played at Vanderbilt still up in the air though. Why does Catholic insist on playing 1A teams every year? Coalfield the last couple years and now Cloudland? Come on Q, even you have to admit that's pretty terrible.... I have a really hard time believing that's the best they could do....
