Wk 3 of the Playoffs: Rhea County at Oak Ridge

Rhea was just the better team tonight. They beat us on both sides of the ball. Gotta hand it to them. OL tries as hard as they can but they just aren't a very good unit and that's the cold hard truth. We have a ton of talent returning next year just need to find an OL. If you can't block you just can't beat a quality team like Rhea. I'm proud of our kids they never gave up. Look for us to advance further in the next few years. Congrats to Rhea on the win and best wishes in the playoffs.

Well, it was very much different than I expected. I'll eat my crow now...medium rare please. The Wildcats fought back hard but really only had to do so because of costly mistakes. The Rhea fan base was amazing in their support. I was very disappointed in the Oak Ridge fans. When a lady has to scold everyone to cheer for your team and they can hear her 75 feet away, you are flat! There were a few die hard fans cheering, but for the most part is was a social gathering. I don't mean cheering when your team comes back within one touchdown after being down three. They needed you and...well, most of you weren't there. Capacity is why you have BLANKENSHIP not Blankenbassboat.  I have no voice left and I'm from AC. Really? Oak Ridge players should be proud. They fought hard and almost did it, but it's hard to keep in the fight without support. Rhea vs West will be an interesting one.
