DC will be ready to beat Warren Co. I know some people wonder why we play the type of early schedule we have become "famous" for but it is for the sole purpose of getting the girls ready to play a BIG border rivalry like this game! And if this game is a close one, I for one, am glad we have a coach that knows how to win the close ones. No coach prepares their team for tough games better than DC's coach.

IMO, It will be a close game IF DC's 3 ball is falling.. I'm not sure they have an answer for Turner or Eckenrod down low. Eckenrod also has the ability to step out and shoot the 3 which makes her harder to guard. WC has tough guard play too and all can shoot.. Hoping for a good hard fought game, but I believe WC wins by double digits..

Just a little afraid that we will not be ready for the challenge.  Open the newspaper and see the sports writer talk about the quality of dominate wins during the games Friday and Saturday, putting all those teams together does not give us one quality team to play against.  Warren County looks by there scores to be better, hope our zone looks good tomorrow night and we are making shots from the outside to open up play for us.  This game will be good for the Lady Tigers to get them ready for district play.

Well all I know is DC plays against strong quality competition yearly within the district, granted it doesn't usually end well. There is nothing Warren County can do or throw at us that we haven't ever seen before. Hopefully our girls come out focused and prepared. I hope they can play loose and knock a few 3s down early and gain some confidence.

    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
