UnsilentMajority
As already mentioned, Rhea's visitor stands are bigger than any other stands I've ever seen for a high school field. Both sides extend from goal line to goal line. They consist of the old school concrete, so they're not too soft to the posterior. However, each level is wide enough to allow you to bring a bag chair to sit in. I've always heard that we could fit 10,000-12,000 and it'd be full, though I've never actually seen it. I've never seen a team travel as well as our Rhea faithful, but it'd be nice to see Eagle Stardium full. I saw earlier this evening that the gates will open at 4:30. That'll give everyone plenty of time to get their seat and pack in for a good game. There will be plenty of RC faithful tailgating before the game. Maybe a few from West will come down early and join in on the fun. I have heard some groups say their tailgate menu this week is pretty vast! pepvol
Visitor's stands are as big as the home side. They used to serve as the home side stands. You do have some Rhea County faithful that insist on still sitting over there, but they keep to themselves to the left of the old pressbox. I know Andy Kelly and his family still sit over there. I do, too, if I want to watch the whole game without interruption. It's a great stadium to visit and I can say that without bias. I work with people all over the Chattanooga and Nashville areas and they all enjoy coming to Bill Horton Field. I remember this from a few years ago , the Rhea co fans told us they had sat there for years , they were Nice people , I remember good Hamburgers and also ........... THE CLAW !!! WestHigh4Life
This is likely to happen week 10 next year. But, West will lose a ton of talent off of this years team. West vs. RC should be a great game. What are the visitor stands like at RC? ORKat after seeing RC in person and ur knowledge of West...how does West matchup w them? They seem like a huge team w a lot of depth from their roster
RunninRebels
I'm going to say West 45 Rhea 17 I just don't think The wing T will do much against West.....trying to run against West is like running into a brick wall.

OakRidgeKat
71 is Keyshawn Dockery. W4FL, I was very impressed with RC. They aren't that big and they do have good team speed. They're very good, solid, sound technique and fundamentals. No trickeration, nothing fancy, just good blocking, tackling, and running. They keep the ball, limit your possessions, and don't make many mistakes. They capitalize on your mistakes, much like those other Rebels do. OR had 4 turns that resulted in 28 pts. However, the West High Rebs are pretty darn good too. I think the overall team speed and depth will once again play a factor late in the third and fourth. West will be the best and most physical team RC has played so far. Once again, 5 and 7 could be the difference. West will have to crank it up another notch and bring their best this week to bring home with the win. Now, the most impressive thing of all about Rhea County was their fans. I knew the team was going to be good, but good grief. Their fan support is unbelievable. I would say they easily brought 3,000 to Blankenship last week. They filled the 2200 seat visitors stands, stood 2 or 3 deep around the track and wrapped around into the home side bleachers. I can only imagine their turnout for a home game. West fans better bring it! This will be a good one.

West has to play mistake free football to win this one as well. Defense is going to have play tough as well by wrapping up, causing turnovers, and getting off the field after 3rd down

EastTnVol
Rhea County has the largest visitor side I have ever seen. I honestly didn't expect Rhea to beat the Owls. They keep proving week in and week out that this team is for real. They run the Wing-T so disciplined that it's hard to stop. Anyone know if this game will be steamed on the Internet?
