goingdeep
How would you rate the top rating pitchers in middle Tennessee?I live in district 8 and feel we have 2 good returning pitchers that I know of. Jensen, from Shelbyville, and Catalano from Coffee County. We lost 2 very good pitchers last year in Childress from Columbia, and Hollis from Lincoln County. I've heard that Childress went to MTSU, so where did Hollis end up? I remember Pierroni from Good Pasture last year as a freshman. She seemed to have all the tools to maybe be the states best. Will Brentwood Academy be able to replace Sara Meek? Can Dickson County replace Erin Haggard? Please post your picks for the 2003 season. Guest
IMO, is Brittany Herald. Throws hard, smart, and great location. Also, can carry a team.
ERA
Megan Rhodes from David Lipscomb and another one who doesn't get time on the mound because the starter is so great is Christine Davis of David Lipscomb. Very effective with ball movement and accuracy. She was a Jill Booth protege for many years with a national championship under her belt when she was 11 and pitched the only perfect game in a national championship game ever in ASA at that time. shari21
Megan Rhodes is definitely one of the best returning pitchers in the state. Not only is she one of the best pitchers she also has a very good bat.

EzellSoftball04
Sftbll Coach- When did you see Brittany play? My vote is going to Megan Rhodes (That is not surprising if you know me). Megan and I have been friends since pre-school, and she is awesome as a person and a player. She has a great rise ball, and throws harder than anyone I have faced. We always joked about playing together, and now we get to, so I am excited. She went to nationals with us this summer and helped us out alot. Great team player. Also, I have to say something about Allison Tyree. We have been best friends since we were 10, and she is a very effective pitcher. She is doing great at Brentwood High, and I am very proud of her. Last but not least, Danielle Pieroni. She is doing big things over at Goodpasture, and I am happy to see that. She is pretty effective. She may throw better if she threw with the right hand. (Just kiddin, love you D.)
Guest
I saw her play in 58 ball games this summer. Pitched about 40% of those games with most being against Gold teams and Brit beat some very good Gold teams with her pitching and bat! I know, there are pitchers that are faster than Brit's low 60's fastball (which she doesn't throw very often in summer competition). Against most of the competition that we faced during the summer, speed becomes homeruns (batting practice) unless you keep the hitters off balance and Brit is very good at this! That is why I think Brit is one of the best. Remember, this is JMHO, as is yours about Megan! BOTH ARE GOOD.

redbaron515
Cant forget Amber Steen from Hunters Lane. She should be a power house in Middle TN, especially in 12-AAA. She went 10-1 last year, all ten of her wins being shutouts. Keep an eye on her for sure.
govolz
For BEECH, ya gotta throw Cassie Stanfill back in the mix. All-State 1st team last year as a Freshman. Pretty impressive! We are looking and hopin for the same this year.
EzellSoftball04
Brit is my teammate, I was just wondering where you saw her. I have been on the field with her for about 3 years now. I know what she can do on the mound and at first.
