kwc
Well, well, well ... lookie what we have here! There are THREE Memphis area high schools left in the play-offs. Memphis doesn't usually have any schools in the lower classes like 1A through 3A, although with the changes coming in 2016 ... Memphis may have some schools to contend for gold in 1A through 3A. The Memphis area D2 schools didn't make it to Cookville this year either. So the three that are left are going to have to bring gold to the Bluff City. In order to do that however, they have to win this Friday. When you are talking about Semi-final games ... you're talking good competition. It comes down to execution and focus. Who will be ready for the task at hand? That being said ... all three games will be played in the City that has a street known for playing the Blues ... Beale Street. In all three games, it's Beale Street against the Music City. The home of the Blues vs. the mecca of Country Music. BB King vs. Darius Rucker. Oh well ... you get the gist. With no further ado ... Big Games in Memphis presents the Testosterone Three. Big Games in Memphis - Play-offs, D1 Semi-finals: (The Testosterone Three) Game 1: Pearl Cohn @ Trezevant (Fairgrounds) Game 2: Hillsboro @ Ridgeway (Crump) Game 3: Ravenwood @ Whitehaven Let's get this party started! I'm sure you've seen the more recent film of them playing in the play-offs, but what I posted should just be a supplement to what you guys (coaches) already have. I'm sure the team is waist deep in film study. I'm positive that there is enough there to pick up tendencies, habits, and substitution patterns if nothing else ... let alone the OC and DC play calling styles depending upon situations and packages. There should be plenty to observe and plan against. Edited November 25, 2014 by kwc
coach10ac
I've seen plenty of film, our job is bizness as usual. What people don't get is, that a good team will score especially in playoffs but we must control the game. Winning by 50pts is no issue with me, winning is all that matters. We will make them one dimensional. They won't be able to run alot against us. They QB better come to play

BlackHavenSenator
I hate that two-thirds of the match-ups will be between THE REAL MUSIC CITY vs. that "so-called" Music City because those Nashville teams are so similar looking to our squads but we don't Bluff in the Bluff City! I hope to send ALL 3 teams back I-40 East Super Sad

olddevil
Semi-final Picks: 1. Trezevant 2. Ridgeway 3. Whitehaven I'm taking a homer position but think that all of these games will be close and could go either way!
