Whitwell 2015 Tentative Schedule

I think it has more to do with the gate than anything else, when MC goes to whitwell they bring a large crowd. And lets just be honest whitwell has not traveled well if the past. This year alone they probably did not bring 150 people to watch the Marion / Whitwell game. And like all small rural schools (MC,SP and Whitwell) they depend on the gate money to help fund things.

Its like all schools,Whitwell starts winning, the fans show up.Whitwell is on the rise. I also highly doubt that Marion Co is afraid to schedule them.

That's a butt hurt sp fan still upset that their dominance is over and ha is hoping that we won't be good after Zeman.........

Just like Harper was for TC , not taking anything away from the other players at all and no disrespect meant but everyone with a brain knows , Zeman is the difference maker for MC on both sides of the ball. Take both away from Both teams and they struggle? Can you deny that? Look at the talent MC loses with this senior leaders to graduation - Tell us who MC has in their back pocket that can even remotely step into I Zeman's shoes. You have 25 Eighth graders coming up next year. Is it one of them? Who steps into the shoes of #10 Brooks? Huge weapon that Grace or no team better overlook!

I hate to admit this BabieC, but the Warriors will be just fine in 2015. You can't replace Zemen, however that OL,QB, WB will all be much improved next season. Let me give you a comparison. First off I am in no way saying they are as good as this team, but do you remember SP in 2007? The lost Robinson from the backfield. The next year in 2008 we didn't have Robinson, but we were still pretty good.

I kind of get what you mean. I don't think that mc will be as good without 1 and 66. I think they will be very very solid though. Lots more speed on the field next year. #8, freshman who has started most of the year on defense will step in number 10's shoes, #16 will be on the field. Offensive line returns everyone. Defense will still be good. Zeman is a huge loss but you keep assuming that mc will be a .500 team without him which is just not the case. I disagree with this statement, but the coach thinks they will be better next year. I say no way.

never said .500 but in your honest opinion is MC a one loss team getting ready to compete with a chance to go to state without Zeman? I don't think so - Zeman don't play tonight MC loses hands down.just my opinion - Your line is good and you have a good team all around but he is the difference maker. He is that darn good offensively and defensively. I hope MC wins the state I am pulling for them all the way. Good luck tonight and next year! Unlike some I think it's great when at least one local team represents and between us all, you guys have the best shot at that over the next few years.

    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
