9 games will hurt you if win the region. If someone else wins theirs and goes 8-2. They get the go ahead over you.

The Cougars play Tennessee Christian Prep again this time in Cleveland but sadly no 10th game. I guess no North Carolina teams but Hayesville wanted to play Copper Basin. Hopefully 2016 will be a 10 game schedule. It sucks to only have 4 home games.

I garuntee you that is why Grider should schedule our boys 11 games. If our boys win nine games and lose two they will be ahead of another team that won eight games and lost two. Doors Grider not no this mess? I aint joking either.

Yeah that could cost Copper Basin a home Playoff game sadly

North Carolina plays 11 games and I think Tennessee should also. Georgia plays 9 with their Sub-Region set up but I think 9 is too few.

9 is fine as long as everyone else only plays 9 too. I hate off weeks but sometimes they are good after big games to heal. I look forward to this matchup. Don't sleep on Whitwell though. They have a loaded backfield.

Whitwell and Harriman are two sleeper teams in our two regions,i am very curious to see what both have.

Harriman very tough team. They held us to fewest rushing yards (181) of all regular season opponents last year. Keep in mind, Coalfield only beat them by two points in playoffs (8-6).

Exactly GB had to come from behind at the end of the game to beat them also.Ran all over us and if im not mistaken return most of the team!

You mean to tell me that Ross man didnt hold your boys to the fewest yards? Is that why that Ross man didnt want to play your boys this year? I garuntee you these Marion people arent going to believe this mess. I aint joking either.

    • Yeah they both should be good games whoever matches up with who. Wartburg has beaten Oliver Springs all 4 times they’ve played this year but they have been close games. I believe Wartburgs first sectional appearance was last year when they went to North Greene. Good luck to you all!
    • What did they do this year? Every other year, I’ve gone to one. It’s been a little scrimmage and then a bunch of games like a quarterback throwing challenge, O line versus D line, push-up challenge, etc.    But not surprised, nothing new that the program has been on the decline since they lost their recruiting middle school coach. The baseball coach still does his fair share, but he recruits good baseball players. Not good football players, and decent baseball players, definitely nothing like the middle school coach could do, he left for a middle school job down near Cleveland high school a few years back.
    • Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.
