I don't know what the other poster was referring to, but Ensworth has a "Service Learning" program where every student in the high school must go out to interact with the community and perform services for the community regularly during their high school career.  These services are quite varied based upon each student's talents and interest, but range from feeding the homeless to building community gardens to work with organized programs such as Habitat for Humanity and Special Olympics.  Ensworth students have performed literally thousands of hours of community service through this program since the high school started 8 years ago.

Most all private/prep schools now require around 20 hours of community service per semester.

Are you serious?  Does Ensworth really send students to Nashville State to take classes to stay eligible?  If true, this is sad.  If this is not correct, this is an even bigger sad for saying something that is not true.  If there are facts, present them; otherwise, stop downgrading Ensworth.  It was great to see MBA win and break the hold on the state championship; however, stop tossing bombs without proof.  Remember, MBA has some skeletons in their closet as well.

The DII division is like the SEC West in college football.  Most of the DII programs are able to afford financial aid to students to help with these programs.  The programs that offer the most seem to win the football championships.

Look at the other programs in the schools.  Do they do the same or not?  Is this just a football problem or does it spread to the other programs?  I do not know and am only asking the question.  If a program can offer financial aid to an athlete, it has not broken the rules.  Does a program offer more for a particular program?  That is the question.  How does Ensworth do in the other programs?  Basketball seems to do well and Coach Bowers coaches that as well.  What about the other programs?  How many athletes in those programs receive financial aid?  That would be the question.  Their wrestling program is terrible and I would ask why is that.  Wrestling is not the only program that suffers.
