We'll things change with time we could beat y'all like four years ago I think we scored 70 points I believe

69. Don't make it any worse than it was! Lol. We had 7 freshmen starting on offense and defense. Got killed. Those same freshmen were the Seniors last year that won 2 of the last 3. It's a cycle for us. We don't have 70-80 players like East does every year. We will be very solid this year with 32 players and may beat you again but we will be down next year and probably lose to East pretty bad. The following two years we will be back with a vengeance. Will make two strong runs in 17 and 18. Probably back down again in 19. Hard to stay consistent with 240 students. MCHS East has 541 and should stay strong and be competitive every year in 2A. No reason why MCHS East shouldn't win the region or finish runner up every year.

The truth Intense is we know that there will be some games played soon and we hope our teams do well and you and will be happy the season has started. Congratulations on your sons preseason all state award. I hope both our sons have a healthy year and help our teams to victory I just hope my team wins one more game than everybody else

Adamsville will be fine. Drop tuition to 3500 and maybe more can afford to go there

If we drop tuition to $3500 we would have to close the doors! I wished we could do that but we have to pay the teachers and coaches, etc. They already make less than public school teachers.

Thanks and good luck against White House. That will be a good test since they are a 4A school. With your "small" line yall should do well!

After seeing the 2015 version of the TCA Lions, I have 3 critiques.  First, when you take away the obvious two athletes on the offensive side of the ball, there is a significant drop off.  The QB is average to say the least.  Second, the line is undersized and will have to do a lot of cut-blocking to be effective.  Thirdly, Coach Butler will have a hard time dialing up plays for the RB and WR on a consistent basis.  They will get their big plays, but good teams will be able to limit those two studs touches.  If teams can dominate the line on both sides of the ball and contain (not stop) the two studs on offense TCA could easily finish as bad as 5-5.  Reasonably, I think TCA finishes the regular season at 6-4, 7-3.

Not a bad assessment based on limited information. I'm curious how you have seen the 2015 version of TCA? Other than 7 on 7's there is no way you could make that kind of evaluation. Our line hasn't been seen except for two Spring scrimmages. We also have two other really good receivers that haven't been exposed until 7 on 7's. Pagoaga is 6'4", 215 and runs a 4.7. Really good hands and super athlete. Did really well in 7 on 7's the last couple of weeks. Thomas is a 6'2" receiver who runs a solid 4.8 and has great hands. He started against Aville last year as a CB. He's a great athlete. Very good baseball player. Those two Seniors are going to be big for us. In 7 on 7 they made a lot of catches due to #5 being double covered. What you don't realize is that our line is going to be much better than last year. They will be smaller as you indicated but much more skilled and meaner. Tucker, 6'3", 245, 4.85, will anchor the line. He is a beast of an athlete. You may see him at FB some. I would not want to get in his way. He is a very fast lineman. You assessment on QB is good except that he is a threat to run the ball. He is a solid 4.7. The way our offense will be run this year you may think you are playing MCHS East.

I'll begin by saying this, I have a friend that is an alumni of TCA and we communicate almost daily.  So, I do have a really good idea of all the players at TCA.  Your son and the RB are the only PROVEN players, battle-tested if you will, on the squad.  The line should be ok, not slighting them in the least.  If I were you I would have some real concerns about the size and depth of the line.  We are blessed to have the beast of a line we have.  It's early, but I may go out on a limb and say this is the best line we have ever had.  Should be able to say for sure after the first two games.  As far as speed, we have several of those 4.7 guys on both sides of the ball.  Speed will not be an issue for us. It should be another classic matchup between us again.  McKenzie can be a very dangerous team this year.  Do not sleep on them.  Well coached on both sides of the ball.  I see that you enjoy calling us MCHS east.  We don't even acknowledge the existence of Selmer High, especially amongst us old-school Adamsville guys.  From our standpoint, there is only one true high school in McNairy County and that's AHS.  Selmer has lost all respect with their constant whining and complaining.  Over 95% of our athletes come from Adamsville and Michie.  Since, the mid-90's most of the good athletes from Michie come to the 'Ville.  I am a proud Michie alum just like you.

I can assure you one thing, your TCA alum friend doesn't have near the knowledge of the team that I do. I'm around the team everyday. I saw every 7 on 7 game this Summer with the exception of the Martin event. I doubt your friend has seen our new QB as much as I have. He is a better athlete than Avilles most recent QB and has a stronger arm. No, he's not Kyle Akin but none of your RB's are Zak Neary either. The question is going to be whether he can manage the game or not. Your most recent QB did an excellent job managing the game despite his athletic limitations. I doubt your friend has knowledge of our other receivers. It's very obvious he doesn't have knowledge about our line. Does he even know who Chris Tucker is? He will be the most athletic lineman in the district. Oh, we definitely have some glaring weaknesses but they are not what you mentioned previously. You mentioned that East has quite a few 4.7's running around after I mentioned a few of ours. I don't doubt that at all. What you don't have is two that are under 4.6 and as athletic as our top two. Your top RB may be 4.6 but he's not the athlete of the aforementioned. Yes, East will have much, much more depth than TCA and they should with 2.5 times the students. If we get hit by injuries we are toast. If East gets hit by injuries you have plenty of depth to press on. By the way, your 5 BB starters last year were from Bethel, Pickwick Southside, Selmer, Michie(2). Doesn't look like that's 95% Michie and Adamsville. Also, I assure you we aren't overlooking McKenzie. They could beat either of us if we aren't careful. I predict when East meets TCA both teams will be 1-1. Tell your friend to look me up and I will give him a thorough education of his former school.

Intense I know you watch film. 18 had a highlight reel from last year you should watch it he had 1200 all purpose yards. You will see no one ever get a clean hit on him. He quick fast and shifty and would play and start on any team in 2a
