There's no doubt that Peabody was the better team. We really didn't play well and a lot of that is attributed to Peabody though. We made some mistakes that you can't make against good teams. But dad these things run in cycles. I remember when the west would get pummeled by the east. What comes around goes around. We've had our ups and downs the past 10 yrs or so but we have always remained a fairly consistent team. 30 winning seasons in the last 35 years with 7 title game appearances isn't too shabby. I checked Adamsville record in the same time span and just a little advice. What goes up will come down. In our heyday if you had told me that MC would fall as much as they did in the 2000s I would have laughed. Enjoy things while they are good because it will eventually fall off. Just check the past. Good luck to you guys though in the upcoming season. You look to be headed to a semi matchup with Trezevant.

I have to disagree with you some on this one Bass. The Tudors boy was very dominant at his position.

Tudors didn't play at all against SC. His replacement played very well in that game and others that he played in. In my opinion Tudors deserved All-State.

Old Pirate is wondering......with Yous claiming you can.......assure everything was by the rules, was this a sudden awareness of rules or did you.......know of the rules that were being violated by practicing out of season & using that Hale Youngon? It would be strange to hear someone, anyone knowd what theys were doing then........cause theys been a HEEP of Jasper folkes that included coaches & administrators told that Childress man "Theys didn't didn't know theys doing anything wrong" OP ain't jest joking neither!
